It was always going to be touch and go with a mmmbop frame not leaving Taiwan until Tuesday morning, and needed on a photoshoot on Thursday afternoon. But we did it.
Non of it would have been possible without Ollie and Stu from http://www.bicycleshop.co.uk/ The Bicycle Shop in Skipton – who are the most Ragley’d up dealer I’ve ever seen. It was like a pig breeding centre. Many thanks to them both, and it meant I got a ride in with Guy from MBUK in the afternoon, guided by Stu from http://www.dalesbikecentre.co.uk/ up in Reeth – a fantastic spot and one we’ll have to go see again.RSS

Asshat of the Week
Winner of the inaugral “Asshat of the Week” is STW’s Tangobravo. A man on a mission it seems (though we’re not sure what the mission is, or who he works for).
He wins it for three total bollocks posts about our stuff IN THE LAST WEEK. Here (post 20), here and here.
He’s also quite puzzling and seems to have both a fantastic knowledge of the products of Superstar Components, and Pure Racing. And also knows more than the average chap about import duty.
Anyhow – Mr Tangobravo – congrats. AssHat #1.
Tommorow we’ll talk about “OPEN MOLD” stuff, OEM, ODM, the TBG, TBS and other stuff.
Oh, and if you fancy a read, buy THIS.

The Bicycle Shop in Skipton fix the headtube sticker problem
We made the headtube sticker on the Blue Pigs a bit big. They’re smart at The Bike Shop in Skipton – stick in on sideway (though it does look a bike like those Charge bikes).
Begin forwarded message:From: higslesl@aol.comDate: 25 August 2009 19:29:36 BSTSubject: More bike pics from The Bicycle Shop SkiptonHi BrantI have just received our eagerly awaited Blue Pig frames and have just finished swapping my parts over to my new Blue Pig frame (see attached pics). We will have some more pics on the way from the rest of the staffs Builds. I think the blue Gamut bash and blue Nixon forks next to the squash colour look pretty well together. Just need to ride the thing now and send you some riding pics Stainburn or steps anyone?, also the test bike Blue Pig for customers to try will be ready early next week. Cheers.Oliver.shedfire

Ragley Ti Build
Here's the pics of the Ragley Ti demo from The Bicycle Shop in Skipton.
Oliver the manager writes – "As you can see from the pics it has the Shimano SLX groupset and finished off with some nice Hope Gunsmoke finishing kit. Hopefully we should see our Blue Pigs come through in the next day or 2. Myself and the rest of the staff have ordered one so i will send you the complete builds of those over the next few days. We will also be offering a Blue Pig demo bike for people to take out and try again we should have that sorted sometime later in the coming week."shedfire
