Sneak pics from the Taipei show are showing that on-one are serious about tyres in the coming year.
We’re proud to inform the world that we’re persuing a product plan of a number of serious performance offroad tyres with a number of leading manufacturers covering 26in and 29in wheelsizes.
The models breakdown as follows:-
2.25in Smorgasbord
Available in 26in and 29in formats, the Smorgasbord is a “most” conditions tyre, designed by Shiggy Person, a legendary tyre fanatic from North California who works for us out of our Portland office.
It’ll be available in 60a singlecompound, and 60a/42a dual compound. With an Exo sidewall and a folding bead. Which should give a clue to who makes it for us.
2.4in Chunky Monkey
Available in 26in and 29in formats, the Chunky Monkey is a “Extreme” conditions tyre, also designed by Shiggy Person, a legendary tyre fanatic from North California who works for us out of our Portland office.
It’ll be available in 60a singlecompound, and 60a/42a dual compound. With an Exo sidewall and a folding bead. Which should definitely give a clue to who makes it for us.
3.8in “Floater”
Shown here in the wooden CNC’d sample form (it’s a nice grade MDF, not oak), this is our 26in “Fat” tyre for our “Floater” bike that will be released later this year.
Samples aren’t available, and pricing isn’t set. But it’s going to be ace.
