I really like bars with a severe backsweep.. to the point where anything under 25 degrees now just feels completely bizarre.. I need a 60mm plus rise though.. any chance of knocking some up for your next wierd bar..?
I have the geometry dialed on my bike right now and my current bars have a 9 deg. sweep – so my question is: would I need to change the length of my stem to keep my reach the same?

Jones are 45deg, Mary was 37.5deg, Fleegle is 11deg. Or was it 15deg?
Anyhow. I actually quite like these a lot. They’re a lot wider than previous wiggly bars I’ve done.
685mm tip to tip, which makes them “effectively” wider still – they feel like my 700’s.

Less sweep than either of the FUbars. I’ll try and get my hands on a pair.

Serious question: what’s the reasoning behind the design of the bars?
brant 8:28 am on September 5, 2010 | #
Paul – it’s to do with a more natural hand position for extended riding, especially whilst seated.

Thanks – may look into a pair

No change in stem needed as our forward/backwards wiggle keeps the hands in the same position relative to the stem.

Thanks – I’m I’m really intrigued and plan on giving these a try.
