Big tyres? Little tyre? Long stays? Sort stays? Rohloff? Gears? All covered with Lynskey’s dropout. So we’re using ’em on a couple of cool race bikes.

Dave H has got his – what about you?
Ragley Ti’s have been out for a few weeks now – Dave’s just sent us some pics of his, and his build details. Got one? Get in touch.Ride got delayed due to wet weather. So rode last night in even worse condition on tight technical natural singletrack. Great fun! Corners briliantly, and climbs well, it’s just the engine that could do with being a bit fitter.
Plan to take it round Glentress on Sunday.

Cable Routing detail
Rear brake can either run down the downtube, and along the chainstay, or under the top tube and down the underneath of the seatstay. Rear gear wraps around underside of seatstay for perfect routing.

EN TEST REPORT – CARNEGIE – test pass
Carnegie is Ragley’s new 25degree sweep oversize riser bar. We did did a production run to spec, then picked a bar to test from the production run. Pass. So, along with other QC we do, we know they’re good to go.
We’re now finalising packaging (as we forgot) and they’ll be shipping soon.
Does your handlebar have an EN test pass?shedfire

Well this will probably be quite interesting
I design bikes according to what sort of riding I’m doing. I’ve been doing ubertech steep and silly stuff around Hebden Bridge for the last year or so, and so that’s how the first three frames we’ve did for Ragley came about.
In a change to all of that, I’ve just entered the Kielder 100, which is the UK’s first 100mile single-loop, solo category race. It’s in about 8 weeks time, and I’m excitedly nervous about the whole thing already.
Really not sure what I’ll be riding yet. I think I’ll be on a Ragley Ti with a few equipment modifications, but I might go big wheels yet. Or rigid. And probably not singlespeed, but not entirely sure.
Last time I did this sort of distance was, according to various internet searches, 2001 – when I did Red Bull Solo 24hr. And did about 16 laps I recall. I’m not promising either, but it’s quite likely I’ll be wearing the very same, semi-legendary, white OF3 skinsuit too – with lashings of Kamillosan nipple cream 🙂

Qik Channel
Live streaming video  (sometimes).
I  used this Qik Channel to record a  video on the top of Stoodley Pike last night, and if you were watching Qik.com at the time, it’d be live streaming to you. Which I find quite exciting. Got all sorts planned for this new technology, which works anywhere there’s a 3G or Wifi signal. It’s like shedfire TV 🙂
This weekend, I’m at the Singletrack Weekender in Lee Quarry, which has 3.5G coverage apparently, so, let’s see if we can do a live stream from there at 12noon, and maybe 3pm too? Keep tuned for details.
