So this morning I posted this – as we have a new head badge.

And this guy Brydon replied to me…

Which was very nice of him.

Then I got another tweet from someone. Which was a bit odd.

It took me a while to work that one out. I checked out “abjackson1” to see who he was…

Had he really joined twitter just to ask that? And…

It took a while to work out what was going on.

And then I realised… So I retweeted the initial tweet…

And @bazzargh, who must follow @brydoncheyney and me, got in touch..

    And Brydon came back.

I did ask about the leak…

But it transpires, it’s not fixed yet…

Fascinated to see how this plays out. Well. Vaguely interested eh?

As the Blue Pigs and Baggers are getting closer to landing, I’m getting quite a lot of questions about headsets. Shedfire helped develop these headsets for Nukeproof along with the Hotlines House Brands team (I should really write some more about that, but it’s complicated but I don’t want to take all the credit here as Dale and his digital verniers have done a ton of work on these).
    We made our own nomenclature:-

    (Headtube Id)(Top Cup)(Bottom Cup)(Steerer)-(Cup Depth)
So..44EEOS-DC is a 44mm ID, External top cup, External Bottom Cup, Oversize (1.5in) steerer, Deep Cup model.
That’s the one you need to fit a 1.5in steerer fork to a Blue Pig or Bagger.

We have internal and external top cups, internal and external bottom cups – not in all models, just in models where it’s possible. We have models for tapered steerers, 1.125in steerers and 1.5in steerers.

We have deep cup headsets that fit Ragley and Nukeproof frames, and standard models that will fit other peoples frames.

All bearings are wonderful quality and we’re really pleased with them. Cane Creek also do some 44mm ID headsets too, and they’re available as single top or bottom cups. We might do some like that under the X-Lite brand at some point (must remember to do some more work on that).

    Hope that helps!
