Sounds like “bollocks” to me
Taiwanese and Chinese people often adopt and English name to let stupid westerners do business with them easier. We were out in the company of Wei Hau (Pazzaz) the other night and decided that it was all wrong, and so asked if we could have Chinese name instead.
After looking us up and down they decided that I should be called this, as shown, which seems to be pronounced “bollocks” and is something to do with a racehorse. Better that than the first one they thought for me which was “ta ta ta”, or “blah blah blah”. And Chin Chin means cock in Japanese.
Heading out of here in 4hrs and I land back on mothers day, home about lunchtime if the trains work. Save some rain for me. I’ve missed it.

I’m all for staying up late, but it’s 1am!
Really need to sleep, though my body clock is totally messed up. OK – quick and dirty, cos my bath’s run and I want to hit the sack.
Registered this morning, and then our carefully organised plan of slowly cruising the isles fell to bits fast. We all lost each other, so all just set out in our own way hunting down stuff we wanted to see.
I spent the day hunting out odd tubing and cable guide manufacturers and others had other agendas. A solid 9hr day put in though, and we got some cool contacts and made some great new friends. Pics on over at flickr.Had a super cool evening with food from some low rent all-you-can-eat Japanese place, and then bed. Managed to run the bath right tonight. Got to head of now, bit tired happen.

Loads of fixies/fakengers. My proto steely lands tomorrow. Lots of people (brightly coloured, from the valley) shitting themselves about CEN, and all sorts of other stuff. need to dump my brain and contents of my pockets in a kind of cathartic exercise, but not time right now. MET TOBY HENDERSON – he’s so fucking cool, and still sweating the details on his production stuff – and the guys from BLACKSPIRE who are super odd, but lovely. And Yo! to MOMO!!

Louis and Billy Ray
First day of the show today, and it always feels a bit like “Trading Places”… Walking up, opening those doors and just rubbing your hands at the delights that you have to find inside. Can’t wait.Last night had an excellent meal out at a dumpling bar, then had a bit more snackage locally afterwards. It could have degenerated into something a bit grim, but spun out pretty well. I didn’t get to bed until midnight, but it seems to have pretty well set my body clock, and I got a good 6hrs of sleep last night, which is more than I usually get at home.
I did shoot a very creative vid of it all, but it seems to have broked. Ah well.
Right, bath, breakfast then shuttle bus and off. Keep an eye on @shedfire on twitter, and /shedfire/ on flickr, and we’ll bring you the news as it happens.
